TBC_afp is mounting a new year come back after a long slumber. Yet as luck would have it, literally and fuguratively just as Aang, the main protagonist of Avatar: The Last Airbender was freed awakening from frozen captivity for one hundred years, Netflix has produced a live action revival thawing out, 16 years later, one of the most beloved and critically aclaimed animated actions shows of all time. And the time was ripe for TBC_afp to podcast. Get on board and ride into 2024.

Since the mid 2000s, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, then dubbed "the most electrifying man in sports entertainment" had been attached to the project, Black Adam. For many, Black Adam is an unknown whereas for comic book fans he is in DC Comics, SHAZAM!'s chief antagonist, poweful enough even to match the likes of Superman. Forward to late 2022, the project finally comes to fruition in a worldwode cinematic release, all the while Warner Bros ushers in new leadership to its rebranded division DC Studios (formerly DC Films), headed by Marvel Studio veterans, James Gunn and Peter Safran.
