SHAZAM! (Spoiler Review)

A famous writer once penned the line “What's in a name? That which we call a rose; By any other name would smell as sweet” in order to evoke the idea that what really counts isn’t just how a thing is labeled. Rather that true heroic significance and character comes from within or that our actions define us. In SHAZAM!, starring Zachary Levi as DC Comic’s sometimes anti-Superman analog and child’s-eye-view superhero commentary (commonly know through the source material as Captain Marvel), WB/ DC Cinematic Universe attempts to deliver at the Box Office again at the wake of Aqua-success, The World's Mightiest Mortal. Follow TBC_afp as they take that leap of faith and call out SHAZAM!

Captain Marvel (Spoiler Review)

It is Marvel Studio’s tenth anniversary “phase” build up and we are introduced to Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel. With actress Brie Larsen portraying the character lead as Marvel’s biggest heavy, there is without hesitation both excitement from fans and controversy at a trolling level. While, a week into Captain Marvel’s theatrical release and already a half billion dollars at the box office, it’s safe to assume the franchise’s security  though conversations, sometime ignited by inspiration or gender politics rages on...

Batman: Road To Justice Part 4

Riddle me this? What do Morgan Freeman from Lean on Me, Mr. Bates from Downton Abbey and almost eight decades of fictional history have in common? Well, the answer is “Batman”, of course, but that doesn’t mean you ought to be shoving Spaghetti into any (“Bat”) Computer in the name of detective work.

Join TBC a fanboy podcast & friends for an in-depth round table Bat-discussion exploring the heroics, romanticism & complex character profile of DC Comics’ flagship property.

What will be revealed? That Batman really does sit home to wash his tights? The truth behind Schumacher’s “nipplegate”? Or that Calendar Man will get his own full featured film? Sit tight, get comfortable with some Bat-milk and cookies (yes, the same ones from Scooby Doo) and tune in for a great Bat-Time.

Justice League (Spoiler) Review

Gathered together from remote corners of the world are some of the most passionate individuals of all time: TBC (a fanboy podcast)! Dedicated to a single objective- releasing edgy but not offensive apolitical media infotainment content hopefully, toward scoring some lucrative corporation sponsorship, enough to at least break even. But what do The TBCers Three think of the highly anticipated Justice League movie? Will they cry outrage at Henry Cavill’s #MUSTACHEGATE ? Does Zack Synder take a page from Sir Michael Caine and bury another Batman? (Steve Coogan’s The Trip. Look it up….) Are there actual Apache Chief, Black Vulcan, El Dorado & Samurai Easter Eggs that we missed in the movie?

Wonder Woman Film Review: Road To Justice Part 1

Created in the 40’s, Wonder Woman has evolved over the ages brandishing strength, beauty and feminism to many but not without controversy contained in the course of her history. DC’s archetype and surely GOAT female superhero has graced fans through the ages in comics, toys, TV, animation and finally a solo feature film directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster) with Gal Gadot (BvS, Fast & Furious) as Diana, Princess of Themyscira.

The crew of To Be Continued a fanboy podcast offer their Wonder Woman film review in this first installment of ROAD TO JUSTICE, inching its way closer to Warner Bros.' ambitious Justice League.

"All the world's waiting for you and the power you possess… Change their minds, and change the world."
